Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy covers browsing shadowrocket02.com. This site is Shadowrocket’s official website and manual, offering static pages with guidance on verifying the genuine app, setup steps and troubleshooting. These terms explain how data is handled on the website; they do not replace the privacy information shown for the app or on the App Store.
1. Scope and information submitted
This site has no user registration, sign-in or email collection forms. You can read the manual without providing your name, phone number, payment details or Apple Account information. Rule and address examples on the pages are for explaining setup only; they are not used to receive configurations.
This site does not provide, sell or recommend nodes or subscription services. Setup instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. A one-time client purchase is not a line plan. Do not enter subscription URLs, passwords or other connection credentials in website addresses, query parameters or feedback.
2. Visit logs and analytics
When you visit a page, the systems that deliver this website may process your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and device and browser information sent by your browser. These records help deliver pages, diagnose loading issues and maintain the site; they are not connection logs from the app.
This site uses analytics to understand page readership, site navigation and clicks on the store button on the download page. This helps identify instructions that need more detail, links that are hard to find and pages with access issues. Clicking the store button does not mean a purchase was completed.
This website does not read servers, subscriptions, Config files or Data (traffic statistics) saved in Shadowrocket. Website analytics and in-app traffic cover different data and should not be confused.
3. Cookies and local storage
You do not need a website account to read the pages. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar browser storage to identify visits and reduce duplicate counts; the specific items stored depend on the analytics configuration in use. A site’s static pages alone do not show whether it uses cookies.
Your browser may cache fonts, images and page resources to avoid loading them again. Caching is different from cookies and local storage. You can review, limit or clear this site’s data in your browser’s site settings. After clearing it, cached resources may need to reload, and analytics may identify visits differently.
To limit the information sent during browsing, you can use your browser’s privacy settings. The results depend on how your browser implements those settings; this site cannot guarantee that any setting will block all network requests.
4. External App Store links
The App Store is the only place to get Shadowrocket. See the download guide for details. When you open the App Store product page, you will be using a service operated by Apple.
Apple handles visits to its store pages, account verification, payments and purchase records under its own terms and privacy policy. This site does not receive payment information or determine purchase eligibility from website visits. Check the App Store page for system requirements, device compatibility and purchase availability.
Before using the app, review the app privacy information listed on the store page and the in-app information. Data handling after you import your existing configuration into the client is outside the scope of this website’s visit analytics.
5. Policy updates and review
If website features or data practices change, this policy will be updated on this page, along with the “Last updated” month at the top. That month indicates when the website policy was revised; it does not indicate a Shadowrocket version or app update date.
If a new feature later requires you to submit information, its purpose and scope should be explained before collection begins, rather than relying on the terms for static reading pages. We recommend reviewing this page before using any new feature.
For purchase, access or connection issues, check the FAQ or Getting Started and follow the relevant steps. When describing an issue, remove account details, subscription credentials and server authentication information. Do not post a complete configuration containing sensitive information.
