Disclaimer
Last updated: September 2026
This is the Shadowrocket website and official manual. This disclaimer explains the scope of the site’s documentation, conditions of use, and limits of responsibility. Before following a tutorial, changing a configuration, or purchasing the app, consider your device and check the App Store listing.
1. About this site and its documentation
This site explains how to get Shadowrocket, make an initial connection, import an existing configuration, set up rules and routing, and troubleshoot issues. Instructions focus on iPhone and iPad and explain interface options and their purpose. They do not guarantee results on any particular network or server.
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app for Apple platforms. The App Store is the only place to get it. Check the App Store listing for system requirements, compatibility with other devices, and purchase eligibility. For instructions, see the download guide. Do not rely on the app’s name alone when identifying what to buy.
2. The app and connectivity services
A one-time purchase of the app does not include a connectivity plan. Buying Shadowrocket gives you a license to use the app; it does not provide a server, subscription, or network service. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions, or set up, renew, or maintain such services.
Import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. You are responsible for verifying their source, your authorization to use them, and whether the service is active. Example domains and rule snippets illustrate how to enter information and how matching works. They are not working connection resources or endorsements of any provider.
Connection quality depends on your local network, server status, configuration, and service limits. A latency test or a successful connection once does not guarantee future availability, speed, or stability.
3. Content accuracy and operational risks
Tutorials reflect the interface that could be verified when they were written. Interface labels, menu locations, and settings behavior may change with app updates or device conditions. If the documentation differs from what you see, check the in-app wording and App Store listing before proceeding.
Rules and configuration examples rely on specific assumptions and should not be used to replace all your existing settings. Keep a recoverable copy of your configuration before making changes. Afterward, check the Global Routing setting and verify where your traffic is going. Explaining a procedure does not mean that a configuration is suitable for all your needs.
We correct errors found in the documentation, but cannot guarantee that every detail will always be complete or suitable for every environment. To the extent permitted by law, we make no commitments beyond our legal obligations for losses caused by outdated information, misreading examples, or making inappropriate changes.
4. Pricing and App Store terms
Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118 on the App Store. The price, currency, taxes, payment outcome, and applicable purchase terms are determined by the information shown and confirmed on the App Store at the time of purchase.
Our explanations of the one-time purchase, restoring purchases, or device eligibility do not replace the App Store terms. Handle refunds, transaction records, and purchase restoration through the App Store’s processes. This site does not handle payments or guarantee a particular outcome.
5. External links and support
External links to the App Store open the Shadowrocket product page. The destination page, account verification, payment processing, and data handling are governed by that service’s own rules. We cannot control changes to or access to external pages, and providing a link does not constitute any additional guarantee.
When using the app, follow applicable laws, the rules of the network you use, and relevant service terms. This disclaimer does not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or affect rights you may have under applicable law.
If the interface differs or you have connection issues, first check the FAQ and Getting Started, then review your existing configuration step by step. When describing an issue, remove credentials, passwords, and other sensitive information from subscription URLs. Do not share your full configuration publicly.
